Thanks Richard. Ah that it could only be that simple. I also have version 5.0 on my MACBOOK Pro and it won’t take it there either. I went to the APPLE Store and logged this very same camera on their new MACBOOK Pro to AND to iMovie without a problem. I cannot get iMovie in my G4 Tower or MACBOOK Pro to see this camera. Also, I cannot get either one to see my editor’s $3000 pro camera! This is strange stuff. Remember my firewire ports work fine and accept hard drives, midi keyboards and so forth so that’s not the issue. This is a real mystery. I did have log and capture issues before, but it would work and then not work. For example last month I successfully logged a tape, put the next tape in the camera, shut the housing, hit “Log and capture” and from then on it has not recognized the device. Huh?!!
