June 3, 2015 at 9:34 pm in reply to: Is it possible to merge metadata in Premiere Pro?Hmm. Ok. Thanks!
I’ve briefly looked through search engine results that came up with Adobe Prelude. But I don’t know if that’s a program that can do what we need it to do.
I’ll try out Adobe Support/Community and see if anyone there might have any suggestions or solutions.

August 2, 2013 at 10:53 pm in reply to: Alternative Workflow from FCP to ProTools besides OMF?Thank for the recommendations and suggestions. After talking to my friend some more about this today, we’ve decided to just go ahead and get his really old version of ProTools upgraded and up to date. I think it’s a necessary and smart decision, especially if he wants to pursue a career in sound production.
Thanks again!

February 25, 2011 at 6:38 pm in reply to: Multi DVD/CD Duplicator Recommendations Please1) I’d say we burn on average 10-20 DVDs a month and of course more during busy seasons. I work for a medium-sized corporate company and they generally send in a lot of DVD/hard copy requests.
2) We have not started producing Bluray discs yet, which is why I’m thinking a regular DVD/CD duplicator is probably be best. But I know we’ve bought a bluray dvd player as one starting point in case we head in that direction sometime down the future. But for now, I don’t even think our current Macs can burn on bluray or are bluray-compatible. So…. regular DVD/CD duplicator then?
Thanks for your help and suggestions!

I’ve got the same Compressor version as the client’s. =(
Now, I don’t fully understand the concept about saving droplets if they’re already saved in the settings. What would you do with saved droplets if you can’t even open/import them into Compressor on other computers?
Well, thank you for your response and help anyway, Liam.

April 25, 2010 at 9:39 pm in reply to: Audio Sample Plot & Syncing RED footage with Audio in AVIDI figured out the issue with the audio waveforms! Apparently, I needed to uncheck “Show Marked Waveforms” from the Timeline settings. I can see the sample plot now!
Thanks!

April 25, 2010 at 7:27 pm in reply to: Audio Sample Plot & Syncing RED footage with Audio in AVIDThanks for your reply.
I tried expanding the audio tracks and the sample plot still didn’t show up… =/ So, I’m still stumped about why it would do that…
As for the audio-video syncing, we used the slate/clapper system and I’m attempting to sync up the audio and video through that… I guess what I’m confused about is why most of the footage that was brought into Avid can play audio fine as is, but there are quite a few clips that were brought into Avid the same way as the rest and they aren’t playing audio as is and requires audio-video syncing… But as for this particular issue right now, it looks like no matter what, I’m going to have to take the long route and just sync up these “audio-less” clips manually.
