OK, seems like everything is working super! Not sure what I did, if it was one of the restarts or what. Thanks again Keith…you got me started on the right path. Everything fell into place after that.

Thanks Keith! You are exactly correct! I did have the sync looped…grrrr. 🙁 Evrything seems to be in working order now. However, I do have a couple more questions.

I have the “Set black ref on video output in capture” option selected. My understanding is that when I am capturing, sync is fed to my BetaSP deck, otherwise it is not. So, I don’t need sync fed to the deck or card for any other reason?
Also, although the card is controlling the deck(ff,rewind,shuttle, etc) it stops a the capture point instead of proceeding with the capture. Any thoughts?

I should have clarified that I was talking about editing in Premiere Pro. My bad. Thanks for the input.
