  • It has to be UDF 2.5 or else it will not work. Hopefully version 6 will do that for you.

  • Use Encore to create a Blu-Ray disk but output it to folders(you will end up with 2 folders). Then use Nero 8 and burn the DVD with UDF format and set the file system to manual and UDF 2.5. Works great.

    Works on a mac only – 1299.00 is just for the software.

    Steven,
    I think the so called beta really is for mac users. I was so looking forward to Encore CS3 so I am very disappointed. I am an Edius user but I also like Premiere, but working with HDV is painful in Premiere without aspect, but then I loose my compatibility with Edius. So I guess I was hoping for some improvement on HDV performance in premiere CS3, like a new HDV codec. I will say this, by the looks of things, anyone would be insane to use Premiere over FCP. I see the new HDV codec gives great real-time performance in FCP and you can purchase the entire studio for 1299.00 retail. Apple is definitely on the cutting edge in Video – I am thinking about it.
    Also where did you find the info on using Aspect with CS3?

    After being in hold for over an hour Adobe tech support said this is to be expected with Mpeg files and After affects 7! I even installed a raid to no prevail. The only HD I can edit is Cineforms HDV AVI and uncompressed AVI which is a massive file. Here is my machine setup;
    Dual Xeon 3.6 Dell Precision 470, XT800 PCI express video card, Windows XP pro service pack 2, 2 Gigs of ram, 3 Drives – 160 sata, 300 IDE, 250SATA(used forvideo edit), External raid card with (2) 300Gig drives in raid 0. I have on my system Adobe Production Studio, Edius 3.61, Office 2003, Nero 7, Cyberloink power DVD, Quicktime 7 Pro.
    Any help?
