I have seen this happen from time to time. I have reached out for further assistance, but in the mean time can you please try signing out of your Creative Cloud account and logging back in? Also, does MXF OP1a show as an available export format if you try to export a sequence directly from Premiere Pro?

AME CS6 and CC can both create MXF OP1a XDCAM HD 50 1080i50. Are you not seeing “MXF OP1a” under the Format menu?

Exporting to P2 will give you separate audio and video files on the hard drive which is what the OP was referring to.
Goutom, do you have the MXF OP1a option in Premiere Pro if you choose File > Export? I’m curious if this is just limited to AME or is also affecting your Premiere Pro installation. If it is in both, you should try logging out and back in of your Creative Cloud account as it is most likely an issue with the licensing for that codec not being properly detected.

The available bitrate is determined by the Level/Profile you have selected. If you select 4:2:2/High you will be able to get up to 300 Mbps.

The bug was introduced early in the CC cycle and did not exist in CS6. You should be able to create a 4:2:2/High 150+ Mbps file using AME CS6.

Please make sure you have updated to the latest version of AME. This was a bug we fixed in version 7.1.

The best way to add spanned media is using the Media Browser. If you are seeing more than one copy of a spanned clip in the Media Browser either it is not detecting the media properly as being spanned or there is some other issue. Could you post a screenshot of what the media looks like when you browse to it in the Media Browser?

I couldn’t even begin to suggest a reason why you are seeing what you are seeing without first understanding what kind of corruption you get. Could you please give me more detail about the corruption? What format are you starting with? What format are you exporting to? What type of corruption is it? Will the file open in Premiere? Will it play back in Premiere?

Premiere most certainly does work with network storage and quite well I might add. Obviously we can’t say that it works with ALL storage configurations as I’ve seen some seriously funky stuff out there, but we do expect good performance in most cases. Could you elaborate on the issues you are running in to? I’ve personally had much better luck with NFS than AFP, but that aside, I’d like to see if I can help you get to a much happier place.
