    Sorry for the delay. We just needed a bit more testing time for all the features we’ve got in this release. Should be very soon now. 🙂

    First of all, thank you for being one of those people who takes the time to research an issue then share your findings with the community. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that. This is really good advice and I am sure our tech support department appreciates the assist as well. 😉

    Second, it looks like you are using Premiere Pro CS6 or earlier. Another option would be to upgrade to Premiere Pro CC. I spent a lot of time working with our developers on the issue of regenerating PEK files and I feel pretty confident you will find the experience to be much improved.

    Greg,

    I presume you are using one of the YouTube presets which use 2-pass VBR, yes? If so, there is a known issue where the quality will be, shall we say, less than ideal. This is an issue we are very much aware of and are working to get resolved in our next release. In the meantime I would suggest using either CBR or 1-pass VBR encoding.
