  • Thanks Sean and Shane. I had my editor watch the link that Shane gave me. She took notes and said that she should have no problem. And Sean, I’m going to print your post and give it to her. Thanks again.

  • Sean, We’ve had the suite for a year and a half and work night and day on it!

We’ve got two important projects that are being edited right now, so I can’t load this one. I thought I’d ask for advice while waiting for the suite so it goes quickly when we get to it. It’s simply the first time we’ve had to do this.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • David C, Please register my vote to incorporate a color-correction ability just like FCP’s, where you simply find something in the picture that should be white, click on it and it corrects all of the other colors based on that white.
It’s really magic. Why can’t Media 100 have it?
Whenever we’re cutting on Media 100 and we’ve got a white balance that is so far off that I cannot correct it within Media 100, I dub to DVCAM, dig to FCP, color-correct, dub back to DVCAM, then dig back to my Media 100 (currently we have 6 Media 100 suites and 1 FCP suite). It’s a little insane. So please, please come up with something like that. Thank you, -Thomas Hughes

The fall fashions were just presented in Milano and Wedding Silver is everywhere! It’s the hot new color.

“As far as the demo went – I’m hoping to get some nice A/B tests with the Canon HD lens vs. a 2/3 SD lens – see just how soft it is…”

Harry, What are you demo are you referring to here? I’d be very interested in these results. The Canon and Fuji HD lenses are so much more expensive than the SD lenses. The picture I get with my SD lenses on my HD cameras is beautiful. I have trouble imagining how much better it can look. Please keep me keep me informed. Thank you so much.

Also, does the F350 do any better in low light? Thank you.

I’ve got the F330 with a Fuji 17X standard def lens. The camera does very poorly in low light. Is there any reason to think it might do better in low light with the Fuji 17X HD lens? Thank you.
