[Julian Bowman] “Sorry, is this Final Cut Pro 11 already? It looks great. When’s it out?”

What are you talking about? This looks more like a Adobe product!
First beta it out then charge a subscription and then do hyped up unnecessary updates that only work great in the demos! 😉

By the way why Tuner Studios same something like that about the Mac Pro if Apple has mentioned the generation is in works???

[Robert Bracken] “I came here to post this. The management on FCP 7 was WAY better. The Ken Burns effect isn’t as great as creating keyframes.”

FCP7 had Media management? WOW which version did you use?
Not sure why you came here to post something that is not related to this topic???
But to your Ken Burns why not be proactive and use keyframes?

January 9, 2012 at 9:55 pm in reply to: Tracks and Primaries: Question for FCPX Users

Well how do you use the first Track in FCP7?
It is the main track ,Main story, the Music track for Music Videos, Main Dialog track.
I use it for my foundation.

I never seen anybody to use Track 18 to start there project. I do hope see the option to color code/label the Media Stems in FCPX for a better overview in the Timeline.

January 8, 2012 at 12:39 am in reply to: major issues with color matching

I noticed Color Match does really good job when in both clips have the same type or amount of colors.
Example if one clip has allot white and you color match it with a clip with no whites it will most likely miss it.

So I think it was designed for same scene different camera different angle. Do not know…
