I don’t use the masks because I find it easier and faster to edit directly in the curve of CURVES.
But if you are using the masks, I would say that the amount of feather depends on the resolution of the image: a few pixels if any for low resolution images and a litle bit more (up to 30) for high resolution pictures. But this it quite arbitrary…Theo

If your computer has a build-in lightscribe burner, there should be on the outside a logo like this (unless you build the PC yourself):

I have a lightscribe burner from Philips and I’m using lightscribe DVDs also from Philips. I never had any problems with it (in contrast to my first lightscribe burner from Samsung, which only gave problems with Philips DVDs).

You will need a type of printer can handle DVDs. There are may available (and not expensive). Also HP has them.

I’m not sure wheter this is what you mean, but you can insert envelopes for volume and panning

It looks like you have activated the BYPASS FX button on top of the preview window…

Did you add the effect to the event, to the track or to the project? In all cases you can simply open the FX again and adjust the settings. However, the way you open the FX depends on to which level (event, track or project) you applied it.

To add an effect just to one part of the event:
Duplicate your track with the event, apply your effect to the upper track and add a mask (e.g. using the event pan/crop tool) to select the area you would like to be affected.

When you add an adjustment layer like CURVES, it will affect all layers below. But when you press on a PC Alt + plus the symbol for new adjustment layer (or press LAYER-NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER from the menu) you will get a popup menu. Select in this popup menu the option USE PREVIOUS LAYER TO CREATE CLIPPING MASK, the adjustment layer will only work for the layer directly below.

Right click on the EYE symbol and select SHOW/HIDE ALL OTHER LAYERS
