I don’t have Avid in front of me at the moment,but if I understand correctly what you’re saying,is to create a new timecode for every clip and use it to sync.
Won’t that result in getting more than one multi-cam clips though?
My problem is being able to sync those 5 or 6 clips together,and have Avid place black in between those.
Ideally I would like to place every camera as a separate video track on the timeline,sync them manually by moving them around,and then use that timeline to create my multi-cam clip.
Kinda like what you would do if you wanted to do multi-cam in Premiere.But I don’t know if I can create a clip from a timeline in Avid.
I’ll try using the timecode calculator as you suggested and see if that works.
