Yea, but the thing is it was checked BEFORE I created the proiject. It will not save the setting. Can I delete the pref file and if so, where does the pref file reside?

    Thanks

  • Thanks for the response. Right now I am just exporting to DVD for reivew of FX and give copies to sound guy and music guy for review. I plan on encoding outside of Premiere when I do the actual DVD. I changed my DVD settings from 23.97 to 29.97 non-drop frame and now everything syncs up and the video looks good.

    Hi,
My settings in PPro are 24P. When I export I have been using MS DV AVI. It always says 24 frames. When I choose uncompressed, it then asks for 8 or 10 bit. THe file size was considerably larger. When I import to AE, I changed my comp settings to 24 frame. IS there something else I should be doing? Someone else asked if I was removing hte pull down. How do I do that, if in fact I need to??

Thanks for the response guys. When I say “missing frames” I mean it has a “stuttered” look like there are frames missing on playback. And how do I remove the pull down before bringing it in to AE? I never thought of that. I know the AG100A does 24P, but it does a conversion in camera that is really 29.97 correct? Should my AE comp setings be 24 frames, or 23.97?

My PPro settings are the default project setting of Panasonic 24P, 48Khz. Nothing special. I will have to check my export saetings now. I thought the MS DV was uncompressed. If it is not, then I have a quite a few clips I would have to re-export.

    Thanks again!

I know this is a few dyas old, but I remember watching Total Training for this exact problem. There is an option to continue tracking something offscreen, but you have to do something first, like make the comp larger than the actual size of your footage. It seems to work pretty well.

I am going to be watching that section again since I need to do this also. I will post my findings later.

OK, yea it did ask. I just did not go any further since I could only select 1 image. Now, how do I change my emitter to blank??? I downloaded the blank one, but cant find where to select it.

Sorry if these are silly questions, but I am a new user of this app and it does not really help you much in certain areas. Looks VERY powerful though!

    Thanks again!

Thanks for the link, however I did right click and it allows you to import a imge, but I could not select all the images in the sequence.

    I will try it again….

    Thanks for your help!
