Thanks much Ed and Gary – I did not have the external capture checked – yes I am using 6.0c. All is well now.

Thanks Gary and Peter. The Sony driver was in sound,video and game controllers as opposed to AV/C. I installed and is working fine. I did discover the internal vidcap for HDV.

No it doesn’t. What has shown up is an unknown ? device with an AV/C subunit designation.
