Transfer the video to 35mm anamorphic internegative film. Make an interpositive therefrom. Now unsqueeze the image onto a timed and color-corrected VistaVision negative.

  • This is really bad news for editors who have paid good money for a system that cannot tell you what their own error messages mean. I’m disgusted.

I have an NVIDIA motherboard/upgraded NVIDIA video card, running at 3.4 MHZ with 4 GB RAM. CS4 handles AVCHD like an old XT running AV files. I think CS4 needs a huge FREE upgrade.

Thank you for your kind response. In any case, Digital media sure beats my old chattering Moviola. Editorterry@aol.com

I’m a very good IATSE film-cum-video editor. However, I must admit that my eyes can barely spot the difference between VHS and DigiBeta
tape. I will be doing a “student” feature shot on AVCHD, and which may possibly be transferred to film for theatrical release. I need to know to what extent, if at all, will the conversion via NeoScene
    degrade the original. editorterry@aol.
