High/Low are the hard clips. H.S/L.S are the soft clips.

Are you making proxies manually or with the built in proxy feature? If you’re using the built in feature there’s a separate button for turning the proxy footage on and off. Make sure your proxies are turned on if you want to use them.

There are clip options on the curves page. Soft clip is recoverable if I remember correctly but the hard clip shouldn’t be.

Do you have an Blackmagic I/O device that’s connected to a calibrated monitor? What are you watching your exports with?
Also:

This is semi-impossible because colors can change depending on the OS, browser used and the straming service.

That isn’t in the project manager but the project manager has a checkbox for “exclude unused clips”.

From the export window choose H264 as the format and set your video profile and bitrate under the video tab.

You’re probably looking at the audio options. What are the exact specifications you got?

Use the project manager.

You can use the color management tools. You’ll just need to make sure that every piece of footage/images/graphics that isn’t in your input color space is either bypassed or given the right color space so they won’t be converted in the wrong way.

If you animate your project so that everything important is happening in the 1080×1080 area you can just crop the 16:9 version.
