How to make a node “destructive”, so blown out Hilights don’t come back
Hi,
I have a very specific issue:
An interview, in front of a white limbo.
Unfortunately, the DP, did not see the wrinkles, which make shadow lines and shapes on the limbo.
So, I blew it out, by selecting the white background with the luminance key, which works fine. But here’s the problem: The super white background is very unpleasing visually,
So I wanna ad a Vignette to get a more pleasing grade on the white.
Since the nodes in DaVinci are non destructive, it brings back the wrinkles and dirt bits.I remember, there was an option, to blow out the white background, and make sure this clipping is not bringing back info with the vignette in the following node.
Anu idea how?
Thanx a lot.
Best,
Sascha
