That’s different. I was originally following up on my earlier post where I said you could do that with an imported matte.
There is no way to do that with animatte direclty. You could make your animate shape, Then create a matte channel from it by cutting in a black title and a white title below, this would give you a matte. Do a video mixdown of that, and use it as a matte channel as I illustrated above.

V1 – background video.
V2 – fill video
V3 – Matte with matte key effect. Step inside the matte key effect on V3 and apply 3D warp the matte key. Make your moves. Save the 3D effect and drop it in V2 video so the matte moves match the fill moves.

Well, we are using the same adapters on Macs on the same Terrablocks and they don’t have the same issue. 🙁

The driver version is 2.66 the flash is July, 28th, 2010: which is the Facilis approved driver and firmware.

Facilis is looking into it. I suspect it is going to come down to something Resolve is doing with network attached drives in Windows.
For the meantime, our workaround is to use the Terrablock drives in single user mount mode instead of MultiWrite.

Haven’t heard back from them. It appears that the issue doesn’t happen on Macs. So it’s a network mounted drive on Windows that is the problem.
