You could always try adding a little Turbulant Displace at the same time as the blur is on. Keyframe the evolution from one end of the comp to the other. Should add an extra watery-ness.

  • True,

Iv started and re-started the project a couple of times, the first time i went ahead with Trapecode Form but quickly got halted by 1-2 minute/frame render times.

i then tried using mosaic tile to tile the hand several times but 1. it still rendered very slowly and 2. i couldn’t randomize the rotation.

Does anyone know of a way that i can copy a single hand (made of a masked solid) thousands of times to fill another shape? so that i can then zoom in and see the detail of each individual hand?

i have the Adobe creative suite so photoshop and illustrator are also possibilities maybe?

P.S thanks for the example project Vishesh.

  • Thanks so much for your reply,

I always intended to use alpha matte but i cant figure out how to fill it with thousands of hands so that when zoomed into the image It’s possible see each individual hand that it’s made up of. It’s quite difficult to explain the idea 🙁
