The zoom files are 44.1/16 WAVs, sequence is the same.

I found 4 separate clips in this project that’s about 9 minutes long. It’s only happened one other time on a project that was about 7 minutes. But I’ve done other projects of similar lengths that it HASN’T happened on. And I’ve done about 75 other sequences with the same setup of anywhere and of all sorts of varying lengths, but mostly in the 3-5 minute range. So basically I haven’t been able to figure out any distinct similarities between the two projects that it’s happened on.

I guess I just continue with the work around I’ve figured out and hope it stops happening.

thanks for the input, unfortunately, didn’t help.

Trashed the files, re-launched fcp, created a new sequence, copied and pasted the timeline, exported and sync is the same.

And the AIC thing… I know, I know!!! I just recently upgraded to FCP 7 and snow leopard so I’m not full on ProRes… but AIC was the next best option in the past. This is my last AIC project… I promise.

Any other thoughts on the audio?

I should’ve given some more details in my original post, I guess.

My footage is from a 5D. It was been transcoded to AIC. Audio was recorded separately on a Zoom H4.
