Thanks, Dave. This is the method I’ve been using and it isn’t working. It’s sort of baffling me.

EDIT: At the moment, my fix has been to copy the clip with the in point over on top of the layer I want to replace, and copy the TRANSFORM characteristics. It’s not quite ideal, but it’s working. Thanks!

Hi Dave. Thanks so much for responding. That’s the trouble I’m having. I’m aware of the option drag method, but it’s not bringing over the clip where my in point is set. It’s bringing in the clip at its start.

Thanks! That’s a great solution. Still having a little trouble linking a few clips that don’t want to cooperate though. Trying to figure out why they’re not wanting to relink. I appreciate your help.

Ah yes, that seemed to do the trick. Thanks! Playback is stuttering for me like crazy, even though I just reinstalled my OS and added some additional RAM. Might have to go back to the import method. Your help is greatly appreciated though, as it solves my original problem!
