    Microsoft has it’s Xbox
    Apple has it’s iPhone
Google has the backup of the internet
Facebook well they have your information
    😉

There are many theories about Apple having a open OS, I think it could work if they do it right.
Fact is if Apple drops it’s Pro hardware line it will also lose its prestige and which could effect its sales.
But never know maybe Apple will move into a new market the gaming industry maybe?

Public Roadmaps are never good for business. Look at the gaming industry prefect example. Keep your future ideas away from the public.

On the Macbook Air, I could care less what I work on (remembering the Powebook G4) as long it works and gives me what I need. If it doesn’t I move on or figure it out.

correct me if I am wrong but I think he means the color and lighting of the photograph.
Don’t really see much of a texture over lay on the first photo.
Give a search engine Epic Photo color tutorials a try.

I could agree but most of the your points are more a personal preference.
The Send to could be cool but I can see the Roles be going to Logic and Motion in the near future.
But a open in editor (PSD) should have been added with 10.0.3.

Yes yes good old Shake, what a sad day when it was announced eol.
Having a node editor in Motion would, well give it more cool points over After Effects. Why Apple never ported a the nodes over to Motion is for me unanswerable. A must for compositing and you can keep the tracks for the timing as in Shake.
I have been spoking to a Adobe After Effects engineer at a Adobe party during the NAB and a node editor is not out of the question. His story is they have follow a request list for new features.
But I have been hoping for the nodes on every big update of Motion… and now we are on 5. I starting to lose hope. :o*

Remove the Layer tab and replace it with a Node tab! Unless they don’t want get serious.

I kinda agree and disagree, this is the same discussion when the mouse hit the market and look what happen to that.
I have seen a musician play a virtual keyboard on a iPad with no stress, laid it down on the desk and went to town with it.
Another example Smoke is design for the tablet to use muscle memory.

Yes I do know that, but there are some tools that remind me from FCPX. For example like Audition.
We also have looked at Hiero but we went with a FileMaker Pro Database.

I guess you could compare this theory with the Automobile industry except for the difference the “high end or sport” sections is kept alive do to marketing and innovation. For example Audi promotes there R8 and Diesel Engines with the R18 TDi.
Everybody wants a piece of the best, right.

Lets hope Apples marketing are that smart. 😉

Besides of that comparing Phones and Computers sales is like comparing bottle Water and Chteau Margaux sales.
