    Dear Mylenium and John Disckinson
Thank you both for your valuable time and advising something really good.

    Hey John

“the bottom movie has been rendered with fields, you’ll need to deinterlace that clip and rerender it”

TweenGuy: This was made about 2 yrs ago in 3ds Max, Sorry but I am not aware of deinterlacing. Any more tips?

    “the 3D stroke animation looks disturbingly like something I’ve seen before (on the Trapcode site);
I dont’ get the firey surgeon thing, what’s going on with that?”

TweenGuy: You are cent percent right, however, there are a few things to consider,
    1) I have not used it for any commercial purpose, just for my own practice
    2) this particular 3 seconds animation came out as a result of my practice session after watching tutorial at Trapcode’s site.
    3) My website at least at this point is only meant for learning purpose, i.e. I will take suggestions from Pros like you.
    4) Thank you once again.

January 30, 2006 at 8:50 pm in reply to: New website, but a simple one

    Dear Curtis Thompson
Thank you very much. I am on my way to design a simple page in Dreamweaver. Taking self-teaching classes of this software by watching the tutorials and hopefully soon will be able to deign my webpage.

Since I am designing this from scratch, the most important and difficult thing I have found so far is the layout of my webpage. Could you just advise what would have been your way to get through this stage, if you were me.

I hope you will share your ideas. Do you have any pdf based detailed information/tutorial on this? The google serach always yields thousands of results and that becomes overwhelming at all times.

    Kind regards
    TweenGuy

January 15, 2006 at 4:03 pm in reply to: Aiming better audio video sync

    Dear Chris
Thank you very much for your response. Yes, of course, it all makes sense and I would love to see a tutorial for new comers like me on this. Kindly give it a thought as the tutorials with screen shots here have their own worth.

You said that for non linear ediing you used Final Cut Pro (FCP), I have Pinnacle Studio, do you think this could also serve that purpose? as it has a story board feature. And I guess the slates you have talked about do refer to those story board place holders in Pinnacle Studio where you could put your image or video and then garb some audio and finally do your sync work. Please clarify this, otherwise I can understand most of what you have said and I am very thankful for your prompt assistance.

    Hi Steve
Yeh, all the layers are 640×480 including composition itself, but the path shape copied is bigger than the original path shape on a null layer.

Thanks to Steve, wysee and videobill

Steve, I have noticed that the path shape enlarges itself when copied as the source point property. Why is that?

Anyways, I have tried to fix it by scaling down the shine layer and also by moving the same in x and y coordinates to get the source point moving exactly at the correct position. Do you think this is the right way?
