When I zoom in REALLY close to the hidden lines, they are rendered… Could it have something to do with the model wireframe beeing TOO detailed?

Ok I had to check on ‘use in-out marks’ so now I get the clips to export individually, but still not in the order they were in the timeline… I really don’t want to manually order each clip in my After Effects timeline 🙂

    Hi Chad,

I tried the bin-trick, and indeed it does create the clips I dragged in from the timeline, but I can’t seem to get them in the order of the timeline, they’re arranged alphabetically. I also have to manually give them a Base Output Filename (which I did) but when I export the bin, it doens’t export clips but instead exports the entire original movies of which the clips are part of?!

The thing is: I made my montage in FCP and want to get the timeline into After Effects for editing each clip individually. There’s GOT to be a way for this, right?

    Thanks! Sven

Wow, this was kind of my last resort. Hope someone else out here knows what the problem could be?!

Maybe an important fact: when I add a levels-adjustment to the footage, the histogram is already tampered with (you know, when there’s ‘lines’ in your graph showing missing values)… How the hell can this happen?

I don’t have color management turned on. Working space is set to ‘none’. Should I set it to something different here?

    Thanks

Ok, I already got to the point that the letter is transforming into the circle (I had to rotate it around a bit). But how do I use the Splinewrap to extend and bend the tail?

    Thanks

Wow! That’s really one of the most awesome animations I’ve ever seen!

Did you animate this by hand? Any chance of a brief making-of explanation for the curious ’round here? 🙂

Thank you for your reply, but indeed, this gives very bad results, even when I make sure the amount of points is exactly the same…

There’s got to be another way! 🙂
