Hy! I used to created a DVD with Encore 1.0. Now, i did test with Mac’s apple player: It runs fine with apple player 4.0 but with apple player 4.5 and 4.6.5 it shutters. With PCs there is no problem at all if it runs with the installed DVD playing software. only with the windowsmedia, real and quicktime players it is choppy. Is the reason behind this, that i use a too old version of Encore which is outdated for newer apple players?

I have exactly the same problem: DVDs generated with Encore plays fine in PC’s and set top DVD players. Only on Macs it runs “choppy”. I exported my films from Avid HD Xpress as QT reference files. Then I transcoded them with Canopos PC2 into Mpg2s (mastering quality). What might be the source of error? Please help!

Hy 2 everybody! I have the same proms: A DVD created in Encore 1.0 plays fine in PC but in Macs it plays back choppy (not smooth). What might be wrong? I exported the films as Quick Time reference from Avid HD Xpress, then used Canopus Procoder 2 to convert them into MPEGS2s / mastering quality….Please help! Svend5

Yes, I tried to recreate my project by importing my menues from PS7. But when I want to open them in encore 2 the error message pops open “internal error”. When i want to play a timeline, there is only sound for 1 sec. then sound stops….what the heck is wrong with Encore?

Yes, i created them in 576X720. I used Photoshop 7. Ok: how can i see if I used rectangle pixels and where can I set it up? In “imagesize”?

now I deinstalled Encoder 1.0.0 and reinstalled Test version 2. Now i can load my old project but cannot view my menues or assets. Earlier this morning it worked but then the old button problem (highlight areas are not on the button) reappeared. Additionally, sound from the audioline played only for 2 secs then stopped….what the heck is wrong with Encore?

Ok, I installed Encore 2 try out verion. Now i got this problem: When I open my project from 1.0.0 the error message pops up: “Error loading transcode preset”…. I can ignore it but then the same message pops up when I want to preview menues…what now?
