I am making my own setting, but it is the same setting I always use (old system/new system)

setting is based off of Transport Stream preset, but is set to always be between 12-15 Mbps.
HD (either 1080 or 720 depending on source material). frame rate same as source material. 2 pass VBR

I have been doing this exact compression spec for 2 years, never had this problem before system upgrade.

no audio.

What is the best way to do the batch export through Compressor? Select all the sped up clips in the timeline, then batch export thru compressor?
I was just going to select each clip separately from timeline, and export fat movie.

I’m not sure about if any audio came in, but I think not. I’ll check.

I tried a couple different things in Compressor, but none of it seemed to work. The quick and dirty solution I’ve come up with is to put it in a timeline in FCP, put its speed to 200%, then export the clips.

We also tried to put it through AE. We set it to interpret at 60fps, then exported. This almost worked, except that half way through the clip it freeze frames.

yes indeed. audio actually isn’t important for this project, but i would like some way to batch convert footage if possible.

Yeah, tried that first thing- doesn’t work. Footage isn’t getting “pulled-down” and isn’t duplicating frames. It has 60 frames that are playing back at 30fps.

We are on a macs- P2 CMS doesn’t work with latest versions of quicktime, etc. No spanned files, just wondering what ways to fix and/or prevent this in the future are. A fast way to rebuild txt file, or a fool-proof way of doing initial off-load from card.
