Why, when 2 hours into the Prores export does it abort with an “out of disk space” and not give me the option to create more space on the drive and then continue from where it left off?
Until this is implemented, you may find it beneficial to render/export to an image sequence. Image sequences allow you to easily pick up where a program failed. They are also far easier to manage if/when you suffer file corruption problems.
JPEG 100% is great for broadcast. We’ve also delivered it for film-out on commercials (crazy!).

I’m not a plant, but I’ll be honest and say I am a beta tester for cineSync and have used it professionally pre-commercial release. I even have my name in the ‘About Box’ (my claim to fame).
“track record, used by post houses and productions of note. (rising sun pictures, ILM, harry potter 4, superman)”
ILM used it on War of the Worlds and Spielberg (apparently) preferred it to the satellite system they used before. It’s also currently being used on X-Men 3 as the review tool for the production. Skywalker sound (!) also use it for their reviews. At NAB Apple used it at NAB to demo their products. It’s built a pretty solid reputation with some world class and demanding clients… this has benefitted enormously its feature set, reliabilit, and interface… and its only going to get better.
c.f. syncVue which seems to have be aimed more at the broadcast and corporate world.
