Cheers Stuart. Apparently CS4 now has a preset to cover 1920 1080 at 25fps, so it looks like Adobe have addressed this. I thought it would have been 25fps but was just doubting myself coz CS3 was saying differently!

keep me posted if you do. likewise. im gonna try a different cam angle altogether in my current project (the one i needed it for) but several times ive thought i would have been a good shot. thanks Dave.
