Hi –

I ended up re-installing Snow leopard on the machine and now the files work fine… not sure what’s going on either but that worked for me. An apple tech team contacted me regarding the issue and asked me to send over the video file. Hopefully they are working on a resolve.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the response.

I tested playing the audio file using quicktime and it did not drop out.. it played fine.

The audio format is WAV.

I am not actually sure what audio format I am using in the timeline. I didn’t know I could set that. I just imported the WAV files. I apologize for my ignorance. I’ve recently defected from FCP.

I’m using quicktime 7.6.6
When I was running OS 10.6 these files played fine. Now they don’t. I want be so quick to upgrade next time. This is seriously boning me because I need to color grade these files and they won’t open.
