Yeah, but what happen when you are a Pro editor, and the Television station requires all content
submitted to them be in .mov format or another flavor of the Quicktime format to go on air!
That’s what i’m faced with daily…. So given that particular situation, Quicktime has to be installed
to output all those tasks a broadcast house requires.

Vegas handles alpha channel files with its settings very well, so the problem you are having is coming from
those alpha channel files themselves….. Where did you source them from or what were they created with etc?

If you are previewing from the timeline and has any cpu intensive audio plugins (such as Izotope etc)
on the tracks or on the master bus, that could be a cause for an audio delay.

Added to all that Graham had pointed out to you….. Windows 10 is the true culprit there.
Unfortunately i personally never invested in using the Media Manager, it has never been a time saver for me.

    Oh my goodness!
Breaking the backward compatibility of Vegas API is a big unnecessary NO NO on the part of Magix.
That is a very stupid thing to do while rebranding Vegas, especially given the delicacy of it at this transitional stage.

  • I personally think that issue is a feature limitation of DVD Architect!
Further blu-ray and other features needs to be fine-tuned and updated in this tool.
Hopefully, Magix will do this soon…. Because Sony stopped paying any attention to many
of these software when they had them.

John, MAGIX chose to make Vegas Pro 14 incompatible or was it unavoidable due to legal reasons of
the change of ownership where the namesake “Sony” had to be stripped from everything entirely?

I know you have a lot of work ahead of you to update all those tools for Vegas 14 compatibility, but hope its
accomplished soon for the many users of this new Vegas Pro….
