Can be easily done, simply drop the built in Parametric EQ audio filter
on your specific audio and select the Phone line effect preset and tweak

Did you update Windows or have automatic updates enabled?
This at times does cause sudden unexplained issues for Vegas.
Also your problem could also be caused by that Harddrive replacement.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)
