The last render that I did had much better results but still not the exact copy of the AE comp window as you have described as possible.

Here are the last settings:

Quicktime Animation
30 frames per second
millions of colors
best quality
lower field first
full resolution

I don’t know if it makes a difference or not, the main video was first brought into AE as a quicktime none, but the last couple of renders I have used a quicktime reference with seemingly better results. Any suggestions here as well?
