Premiere Pro 2.0 does not have batch encoding. End of story. Many people ask, but until the feature requests overwhelm Adobe’s inbox, it won’t happen.

OK, first of all the footage should be 720X480 using a 1.2 pixels aspect ratio.
You have the monitor set to show 50%. What does it look like when set to “Fit”? What does it look like when you use footage captured directly from the camera and placed on the sequence with no After Effects involved?

I like the way that the Mr. Deity folks compress their videos so I tried their way and got reasonable results.
The method was to export a DV AVI from Premiere Pro, then follow these instructions from the guys who do “Mr. Deity” https://mrdeity.com/
Before uploading, convert the file with QuickTime Pro to h.264, 480×360 pixels at 24fps, better quality, and with a keyframe every 24 frames. The audio is set to AAC, VBR 96-110, 32k stereo.
I left mine at 29.97 but the rest seemed to do the trick. It still looks better when you click the button that makes it 320X240.

Keep in mind that Youtube doesn’t do that great a job encoding to Flash.

Chances are you captured DV AVI. So the best output you can expect is DV AVI. Anything uncompressed is just trying to make a silk purse out of a cow’s ear.
Where is the video going from here? You export it and then what?

If I were you, I would probably export as DV AVI and use Quicktime Pro to convert to Quicktime MOV using the Sorenson 3 codec.

Is the movie a DV AVI Type2 taken directly from a video camera, or did you download some less than optimum video from somewhere?

If I recall correctly, the Canopus DVStorm I used to use all those years ago had a 4GB file size limit. Or maybe you are on a FAT32 drive instead of NTFS (which supports larger files).
