thanks for asking this question and your own comment. I have the same problem and it is very frustrating since rendering takes very long time when you cannot ‘smart render’.
I followed your instructions to set project properties equal to the media settings.
BUT, my big problem is I cannot find the “match project settings” button in the “render as” dialog. Can you help me out where to find it?
