I think I recall what your asking about aaron. I dont know how to recreate it, but it looks like a 3d image when you dont have 3d glasses. maybe someone here knows how th recreate that look.

hey jay thanks Ill do that, Im also now looking at newteks speededit ($495) and applied magics screen play box and forgo the whole computer thing. any feedback on either of those ideas.

My month Demo is bout up and my associate purchased PP in chicago and will come home next week. yikes I dont look forward to that problem. I had no problem with Liquid or Vegas seeing the raid as 2 computers during activation, or office, but that allows 3 machines now, I suspect because they have no operating system or machine code. Whenever Ive had a problem with to many activations because of reinstalls, I called Sony Media Tech support, and they cleared my tally, maybe Adobe support can do that. How many machines does the Adobe liscence allow you to install to. every NLE Ive heard of now allows you to install one on your desktop and one for the road on your laptop.
Sorry I couldnt help, Ill soon find out if my G raid 500 triggers a mess for me with PP. I like PP’s new interface and workflow and really like the clip notes feature, with very positive response from my clients.

Thanks Steven So do you think thats where name is from or are you suggesting its a short form of say Gottschalk? fasinating stuff. Thanks for the info on the card. a perfect example of my workflow was tonight. The local community health brought in a Harvard Authority for a three hour lecture and they taped it on three 1 hour mini Dv tapes. so I make one sequence for each tape. one for the comminity mental health Id bug. and in another I assemble a 10 second Lower third with a title and digital juice to Id the speaker spaced about 10 minutes apart. each of these 3 main 1 hour timelines are taking 45 minutes to render, and Im using an amd64 x2 4200 with 2 gig ram and a raid 0. Will that card along with the dual xeons speed that up enough to warrant the investment?That 45 minutes I watch CNN and get no work done. lol
