  • Thanks for the link. I’m wondering how to find out what my audio bitrate is for my Premiere project since it looks to add to my “Calculated Bitrate” when choosing any of the “Audio Bitrate” options?

That link gives you a “Calculated Bitrate” and a “DVD Max Bitrate”. Is the calculated bitrate a minimum of what to export it at and the max bitrate is a maximum of what to not go beyond as an export? Both ending up at different file sizes.. Wouldn’t the “DVD Max Bitrate” be the way to go?

If you type in a video bitrate found at that link into your “Adobe MPEG Encoder” from Premiere there is a option under “Video bitrate” called “Video encoder quality”. Should that be changed as well?

    Thanks so much..

Sorry about that. It would be for a PC.

My project is roughly 90 mins long. So what’s the best route for a big project like that? I need over 1,000 copies made, so yeah a duplicator is the way to go.

I thought if you export your project out of Premiere as an MPEG2 and import in a DVD authoring program your going to have to export it again as an MPEG2. That’s double the compression right? Is that a bad idea?

    Thanks

Thanks for all the help Craig.

Can I export my complete video from Premiere into an avi un-compressed format and bring that avi file into an DVD authoring program or does it have to be a MPEG-2 file that’s brought into a DVD authoring program?

Also, when exporting from AE it should be set to best quality correct?

When exporting from After Effects. I see the options AVI., DV Stream., and MPEG-4., and a few others. So should I export it as a AVI. file? If so, the AVI video settings have DV/DVCPRO-NTSE , None and a few others. What should it be set to and should it be set to best quality?

Also, what would these other export options (AVI., DV Stream., and MPEG-4.) be used for as well as the video settings?

    Thanks so much..
