not sure which driver I am using but my system freezes just like yours several times a day. I had to set my autosave to every minute cause I am having to redo or redigitize over and over if the bin has not been saved. Have you ever reinstalled your software before? I have not and was wondering if it might help but fearful of losing projects and certain things.

Express Pro version 5.2.1 on pc running xp,quicktime 7.1.6,
NVIDIA Quadro Fx 540 card. It crashes alot coming out of the digitize tool back to editing mode, and sometimes when I park my position bar on the timeline it crashes.I just recently started managing my media with mediasift. I only keep projects that I am working on for that day in the OMFI folder, seems to work great, but the crashing started before that I started using that method.
