DSE…Thank you for answering my question. Of course, you are right; it is asking a little much for VMS Platinum to support the EX1’s codec.

On the other hand, having a camera with the power of the EX1 at its price point is just as hard to imagine. I admire the Sony engineers and managers who took a risk in pushing the envelope and showing such market leadership. It could not have been easy to move this product through Sony.
