There are a couple that work. You can use the PCIe adapter that goes with the Matrox MXO 2 and Magma makes one.

[Chris Borjis] “I would argue this is one piece of free software free of problems as I’ve used
it almost daily for the last 4 years.”

Not if you develop your own software. An example would be….Cough, Cough, DVDxDV!

I agree with the power supply. If it’s not the power supply, Data Rescue from ProSoft may be able to help.

Send more than just a screen shot. Give us details. Sequence settings, computer specs, how are you exporting, etc. Did you render?

November 18, 2011 at 3:32 pm in reply to: Difference between FILM CAM and VIDEO CAM?

There is no difference in quality. Make sure if you are in Film mode shooting 24pn or 30pn that your frame rate is set to default. If not, you are either under or over-crancking your footage and there will be no audio recorded.

I think I answered that the first time. We are talking about a consumer point and shoot video camera. Usually outdoor footage on a bright day look decent. Indoor or dark footage won’t look good. Only an expert colorist can make bad footage look decent.
