If you added the markers correctly in FCP and exported a self contained or reference movie with the correct maker settings, DVDSP will see the makers and will automatically create the links to the buttons if you select a template with buttons.

Your other alternative is Adobe Creative Cloud. It runs identical on Mac and PC.

Never use your system hard drive as your scratch disk. Get an external hard drive. Do not use a USB2 drive.

I do not agree. Camera manufactures are responsible for the technical and marketing of their products. The end user is responsible to use the camera to its fullest potential.
Did someone give you 4X4 files?

you have the least expensive P2 card reader/off loader. Your camera.Personally, I invested in the Duel Adapter then the single slot PCD2. I finally made the big investment and purchased the PCD35. For me, time is money. With the PCD35, I can off load a single 64GB card in under 20 minutes. I can a total of 5 cards in the PCD35 and still offload in record time.

This is not the correct workflow. You will need to record to a multichannel recorder if you want to record independent tracks. You will also need an audio engineer control the levels during the recording. Recording to the cameras is not the way to go. I do not know who told you about sync drift, but I have NEVER had an issue with sync drift with any video camera. The ONLY way that audio sync would be off is if you set your cameras to a 24p frame rate and your separate audio recorder was set to 29.97 or 59.94. Audio and Video stay in perfect sync when you record to the camera.
