No one that I ever heard was asking for a new GUI. All I wanted was for FC to be 64bit and to be able to access all my cores and ram but nooooooo, they have to give iMovie a shot of that stuff Barry Bonds was allegedly taking and call it a Pro. What of the rest of the suite?

Just one of my many concerns is that since it will be available only as a download it will mean that the $299 price will apply to only one Mac. Guess you will have to pay double to also download it on your laptop. I run SL on the desktop and Leopard on the laptop, guess I will have to install SL there as well.

Automatically saves every hour? Heck I save every few minutes. A lot of work could be lost in an hours time. I rarely have ever had to use the Auto Save function but the few times I have since its inception, it always worked for me just fine.

I’ve recently done a pretty thorough search for the Eureka plug ins….can’t find them anywhere. They used to be a kawang.com but no longer. Anyone know where they are?

The url brought me to a tutorial on changing a text’s image in logo emitters. All I want to do is bring in a QT file to use as a particle.

Thanks for the quick reply. I’d like to use the QT files as particles. In PI I created a background and in the layers panel on the left I right clicked on import but all I got was a position date dropdown and then a choose import from AE 5-8. I am currently using CS5 AE but didn’t think I would need to go there. I just wanted to use Jose Burgos’ Marlin download as a particle.
How to import and how to bring them even into the one project library I guess is what I need to know. I haven’t used PI in some time but now I have a big project where I will be using it quite a bit using many of the particles in PI as well as rotoscoped frames from AE.
