Resolve has a similar thing on the “Cut” Page as well as showing you the full timeline, you can actually edit on it.

I’ve been playing with the update all evening it’s fantastic!

Let’s hope FCPX 10.5 is as big a feature update as Logic’s one.

[Mathieu Ghekiere] “If you look at the release notes of Logic 10.5, it seems like a huge update though.

It is! Let’s hope that it’s a good omen for FCPX 10.5

  • [Bernard Newnham] “What if they decide to EOL the incredibly expensive new MacPro you just bought and tell you that the even newer MacARM is the only thing to buy? It comes with wonderful new Thunderbolt and Lightning MegaPower (TM) and brand new SuperConnectors (TM), so you’ll be the proud owner of the very fastest and amazingness computer anywhere. And the biggest willie. But you won’t be able to use any of the peripheral gear that cost you a fortune not too long ago.”

    Not going to happen

[Tim Wilson] “Honestly, even the message that you CAN run FCPX on an iPad would be enough to move the needle, I think. Doesn’t matter if anyone actually DOES. The point is to get NEW people buying NEW seats of FCPX.”

Or they could say “hey guys, pretty sure you’ve all had a lot of value out of that £299 FCPX license now, here’s FCPXI it’s faster, packed with loads of new features and we’d like another £299 for it please”

I really hope Apple haven’t been devoting all their development efforts on just giving us an IOS version of FCPX!

I was going to suggest “Chewin’ the cud” but it seemed WAY to obvious 🙂

I’ve used the Atem Mini a couple of times and it’s very good, couldn’t believe the you could use it with the software panel, but this new one – wow!

[Jeremy Garchow] “I am still working on trying to get this to work with MXF, but FCPX is the limiting factor. If we were using Premiere, this would be working.”

Let’s hope Apple have a nice new version ready to go that fixes this – although to be honest I’m losing hope of any more major developments to FCPX at the moment!
