I guess I’m behind the times in the GPU world. I’ve always been under the impression that the Quadro line was considered the powerhouse GPU, better suited for editing and such. I have the Quadro 4000 as you do Tom. Is the Quadro line losing favor to this new GeForce line?
I remember just a few years ago that we were cautioned against a card that was advertised for ‘gaming’ being used in editing, because the GPU demands for each platform were radically different. Now I read the new GeForce descriptions, and I see ‘gaming’ several times.
