Thanks John for the feedback. I initially burned the DVDA project unchanged to a DVD+RW disc. Results when played on a HD widescreen TV gave a menu in 16.9 and the 4.3 video stretched to 16.9. So I tried changing the TV playback format to 4.3. The result was as expected the 16.9 menu was compressed to 4.3 and the video was played in 4.3. I will give your advice a whirl and come back to the forum with results sometime after the 12th March. Once again thanks and much appreciate your time. Cheers, Steve.

Thank you Stephen for your prompt response and I appreciate your feedback. My guess is that as DVD architect provides a preview facility of the project output prior to movie prep and burn and this currently indicates / displays the initial screen menu in 16.9 and then on selecting the movie play button from the menu screen, the movie displays in 4.3. I will burn a DVD+RW and come back with the results. I was just intrigued to see if anyone else had established the outcome. Off to the shops tomorrow for a rewritable disc. Cheers, Steve.
