Im afraid it only shifts the beginnign or end of the layer to where the timeline indicator is and does not bring back the handles..

Ok these further three screenshots show all of the effects i have applied and their settings, the layers that i have not screen shotted do not have any effects applied.

Sorry to prolong my questions, but i think i did not explain it clearly, i have the fractal noise, pretty much the same as Ayato’s, but the fact is the fractal layers are just there on top of the text and whatever i try to do the text is just behind them, and i can only just see its grey figure, my text does not ‘wave’ in like Ayato’s but instead stays liek an un edited text layer at the centre of my image with the fractal a screen on top…,
Sorry if this is some silly little blunder of mine, but i really can’t see a way around it..,

Ok, but how do i get the fractal noise to shape my text without the text appearing before its supposed to? Ive tried several different methods and spent a couple of hours doing it but i just can’t see what Ayato are trying to describe…
