Thanks Jeff… Tried a 2.1gig movie, ‘YouTube’ preset compressed it to 111mb, but also reduced to 1280×720. Is there a way to keep it at original 1920×1280 dimension?

To clarify, the sequence I’m exporting is ProRes422, so the H.264 comment is unclear to me. (I’m aware that it’s what the footage was before conversion…) FYI, I’m using Compressor v3.53…

Thanks for the input… “Techsoup.org” is a huge software donater /discounter organization for non-profits that I bought my CS5 Suite from last year. ($160). I guess I’ll grab one if there are some left. I’m a big fan of Lynda.com so I’ll check out the tutorials for After Effects.

Thanks Jerry… I had gotten the correct plugin already. Today I’ve have been fiddling with the ‘why’? Some files I was ‘group dragging in’ were upper case (.MOV), some were lower case (.mov). Finally noticed why some appeared ready to log and some didn’t. Changed all back to upper case, everything’s working fine. BTW, I had difficulty getting the Streamclip work flow down, set in/out, batch, etc, so now that I’m back in action, I’ll finish up this conversion with log/transfer. Thanks!

Ahh… Just found ‘Project Properties’ in the ‘Edit’ menu… Set to: XDCAM EX 1080P 30 (1920X1080), bit depth = 8, square pixels, frame rate 29.97… (I knew I was shooting in the dark with XD CAM, but didn’t see something that looked correct… Is this where I need to re-enter the correct info?

I wasn’t coming from FCP… Just ‘Motion>file>import, chose the .mov file…
