In Motion all you have to do is drag the new clip over the old one. You will get a hooked shaped arrow and then let go of the mouse button. New clip with all of the old properties, filter, ect. Hope this helps.

I’m confused, why can’t you cut the project in HD, down covert it to SD or PAL for the client to approve it?

I’m not sure I understand the question 100%, but did you duplicate the clip four times and create a mask to separate the image into 4 sections?

Is the white back ground in the Photoshop file?
If not make sure the image is set to RGB in photoshop. If it is set to CMYK it will do that.

It sounds like you have already lost the client. Making them mad will make sure you lose them as a client forever. Take the high road and you will be surprised to find out how many clients will eventually come back
I’ve found that most companies retain the rights to the tapes. Every time my family gets a picture taken by a professional they always retain the rights to the “negatives”. I’ve personally found that it is easier to just let them have a copy of their footage and move on. You got your first gig and they got a video, you have a stepping stone to the next big gig.
