Use “V” to select the edit point and then “U”to select the desired clip. There are two methods to work with the sub clip: use “F” if you want the original source clip, use “Enter” if you want a sub clip that has already been manipulated. This opens the clip in the Viewer Window.

V – Selects Nearest Edit Point
U – Toggles which side of the edit you want to select
F – References the source clip
