here my experience with cs4.
clean install of vista 64. all updates.
all downloadeble updates for adobe cs4.
not used the binary updates with the updater 6.2
qt 7.6, no codecs else.
premiere is freezing vista. it is sluggish, crashes during simple tasks. crashes during saving a project.
crashes when closing the project. freezing during shuttle in clips.
freezing when unsing dynamic link and encore……………, import server exe. is encuring a problem: crash.
this software is in BETA stage.

i am afraid that your storage solution will not match the hd requirements. try two fw800 adapter with software raide 0, or go for scsi with the same combination. jan

hi! matrox codecs are upper field first. standart dv is lower field first.
