    Hey Bill,

    I’d like to start off by thanking you for helping me out. I followed what you told me exactly, and now I’m right as rain!

    My video is indeed for the web, so I followed your instructions relating to that. I didn’t think you needed to re-edit the clip into the Timeline for settings to take effect. But now I know!

    Again, thanks for taking the time out to read my post. As a complete newbie at FCP, your help is greatly appreciated.

    I found my problem. In my Timeline Settings, I had Field Dominance selected to Lower (Even). I changed it to None, and it works fine now.

    I tried using 3D Simulation > Cube Spin at first. Even when I previewed it in the Canvas frame by frame, the edges were jagged. Giving up on that, I went for a Wipe > Edge Wipe. If I play that frame by frame, there’s no jagged edge. But, when I preview it in the Canvas in real-time the edges appear jagged again.

    I’ve even exported it to see if its just the Canvas, and yea…didn’t work.
