Okay, well to fix the sequence thing, I made a new project and a new sequence with Microsoft AVI, then I just imported my old sequence, copied all the clips and then pasted in the new sequence and then deleted the old one.

But being that I’m on windows now, the other problem I had was the audio since my footage was AVCHD. I couldn’t really find a fix so I just bit the bullet and converted all to MP4 and then re-linked all the footage.

Yeah I’m only a college student and I’m just using whatever equipment my school’s got (and it’s not that much). It’s not like I’m doing a big production here but I just want some simple tips to try to make it as smooth as possible.

I’m using a Konova K2 slider and it’s real short. I mean only 48 cm. I don’t have no motors or whatever automatic stuff higher productions use. I just have me and my hands.

    Sony Vegas Pro 11.

Yes, but it doesn’t work. After deleting them, they just reappear once I open up Vegas again.

Thank you for your reply. However, since I started using Vegas 11, the animate button has not been appearing on several video FX.

Okay well I have Sony Vegas 10 now.
    It fixes the problems.

But what are the best render settings to have a compressed file/smaller file and still have high quality.
I just tried rendering with the Sony AVC MP4 format, and the quality is terrible.

Or should I just render it with Sony AVC and the AVCHD format?
