    Thanks Craig for your help with this. The solution you offer is not helping me too much with this problem, but it is very helpful to me with using the DSR-11 I have access to and have considered using on some travel projects. You have solved one mystery for me while while working on another for which I am grateful.

    The timecode on the source monitor seems to match that of the original tapes. I do not have the masters in my possesion right now, but things appear to be correct. I will check for sure later when I have the tapes.

    The programs I am working on are for broadcast and need to have exact time code addresses for B&T and program start, etc. When I check the program after export to ensure these times are correct on the tape, they are all off by several frames, but not consistently so on different export attempts. One attempt may be fives frames late, the next maybe seven frames early. This is comparing it to the timecode on the timeline. I edit many programs a week and have not had this problem before. I have tried several different DSR-1500a’s and the problem persists so I am sure it is something with Premier and not the tape machine.
